Dual leadership for ATP Munich
Fabio Di Valentin starts to work as Managing Director/Engineering in ATP's office in Southern Germany
Munich, 1st August 2017 – Our leadership team is expanding: ATP Munich gained a second Managing Director at the beginning of August. The consulting engineer BayIka-Bau Fabio Di Valentin is now sharing responsibility for ATP’s Southern German office with the architect Michaela Hauser in line with ATP’s common dual management principle. The focus of his responsibilities are the technical fields of structural and building services engineering within the integrated design process.
“I am looking forward to the opportunity to shape the way we bring together these exciting design disciplines under one roof”, says the engineer and new managing director. We warmly welcome Fabio Di Valentin to the ATP family.
Born in Italy Fabio Di Valentin studied constructional engineering at the Saarland University of Applied Science where he earned his diploma in 1995. Over the course of the following years he worked in a number of companies and gained experience in a range of specialist areas: For example, his advanced training included qualifications as a specialist designer for the protection and repair of concrete building elements and as a DGQ Quality Manager. Before transferring to ATP he was responsible for the areas of structural and civil engineering in the Munich office of WSP Deutschland AG and then ran the Augsburg office of BPR Dr. Schäpertöns Consult.
His references include the design of a cut-and-cover starting shaft for Berlin’s U5 underground line which was tunneled using the boring method, the refurbishment of the historically protected Wittelsbacher Schloss in Friedberg in Bayern, the expansion of the Alpenrose Hotel in Hohenschwangau and the planning of the refurbishment of a three-story underground garage with around 1,300 parking spaces for the University of Regensburg.
ATP Munich is one of the eight independent design offices of the ATP Group. Around 80 employees work in the studios in Maxvorstadt.
