Design prize in Hollywood
ATP returns to Vienna with a gold and a silver
Los Angeles, 4th May 2015 – The International Design Award (IDA) turns the spotlight on the world’s most visionary designers. In 2014 ATP was honoured in two categories of the leading US-American prize. But another year passed before ATP Vienna partners Horst Reiner and Dario Travas were able to accept trophies personally, because the glamorous gala in the Harmony Gold Theater on Sunset Boulevard in which the prizes are ceremonially presented only takes place every two years.
Projects were evaluated in the categories architecture, interior design, fashion, product design and graphic design. Out of over 1,000 entries from 52 countries, ATP Vienna was awarded 1st prize in the Architecture/New Commercial category for the G3 Shopping Resort at Gerasdorf bei Wien. As “architect of the year”, ATP also benefits from extensive attention and prominent positioning including on the start page of the official homepage of the IDA Awards as well as the “International Design Award”.
The Kornata, a seating element for semi-public spaces designed by ATP-Vienna’s Head of Design Dario Travas which has already received a number of awards and can be seen in a number of museums, also received a silver award.
