2012-04-25 Gerd Maurer joins the management of ATP Munich

Gerd Maurer, born 1963, studied constructional engineering at the University of Stuttgart before an active career as a construction manager in Ulm and Munich. After being awarded his doctorate in engineering by Profesor Drees at the University of Stuttgart, he was the Managing Director of the  Maurer Bau Group of Companies in Ulm. Between 2005 and 2008 he was Country Manager of Ed. ZÜBLIN AG and Head of Engineering and Industrial Building for STRABAG SE in Romania. He was then a member of the managing board of Scherr+Klimke AG Ulm until the end of 2012. Maurer teaches at the Academy of Biberach University of Applied Sciences and at the University of Stuttgart. He is a consulting engineer of the Bavarian Chamber of Engineering (Building), an official court appointed expert in the areas of masonry and reinforced concrete building (Ulm Chamber of Trades) and, since  2011, a LEED Green Associate.

On 01.04.2012 Gerd Maurer reinforced the management team of ATP Munich in the role of Managing Director/Constructional Engineering. He has a particular responsibility for the areas of engineering, corporate organisation, IT and legal and insurance matters.
