ATP’s meat industry design experts enjoy a very successful appearance at this year’s IFFA in Frankfurt.
Frankfurt, May 08th - 13th – “That was our most successful fair ever”, was the euphoric reaction of Michael Trautwein, head of ATP’s Innsbruck-based Meat Competence Centre, to ATP’s fourth appearance at IFFA, the leading international trade fair for the meat industry. “We have returned from Frankfurt with a full order book. We had already contacted both existing and potential new clients before the fair – and this strategy paid off.”
The new exhibition stand designed by ATP sphere was also a centre of attention. “And this”, in the words of Trautwein “meant that it was no surprise that it became a meeting point for both old and new clients and enabled us to make a whole range of new contacts.”
The design of production and distribution facilities for the meat processing industry is one of the key core competences of ATP. An interdisciplinary team of 60 architects and engineers led by Michael Trautwein has at its fingertips the highly valuable experience gathered over more than 40 years designing for the meat industry. To date, ATP has designed, enlarged or revitalised more than 100 meat production facilities and is today’s Europe’s market leader in the field.
IFFA is one of the most important fairs in the industry – a fact which is reflected by the top-ten list of countries from which overseas visitors come: Germany (naturally) and then Russia, Italy, Spain, Poland, Holland, Austria, Switzerland, the USA, Belgium and Australia. This year’s IFFA showed particularly impressive growth in the number of overseas visitors, with around 58,000 visitors coming from 130 countries.
