Nomination, EG retail & Future Project Awards 2007, Sillpark, Innsbruck, A
Cannes, 14th – 16th November 2007 – Enlarged and renovated in line with the plans of ATP Architects and Engineers, the SILLPARK - once the first and still the largest city centre shopping centre in Innsbruck - was shortlisted in the new “Shopping Centre” category of the prestigious EG retail & Future Project Award at MAPIC 2007.
One of 19 projects entered for the award in the wordwide category for shopping centres of over 20,000m2, Innsbruck´s reinvigorated shopping temple received wide coverage as one of the five finalists. (To quote from a publication covering the EG retail & Future Project Awards: “.. ... brings an unusual and subtle flavour to the development of a community over time, as did Sillpark, Innsbruck.”)
