ICSC Award Certificate of Merit 2006 max.center, Wels, A

11 projects from all corners of the globe were on the shortlist in the category for shopping centres with a sales area of 15,000-50,000m2. Of these the max.center was the only project in Austria and one of only five in Europe (USA 3, Canada 1, Japan 1, Philippines 1, Germany 2, Portugal 1, Spain 1, Austria 1) and was awarded a “Certificate of Merit”.

The ISCS is a worldwide active organisation for shopping centre investors, operators and designers. Outstanding projects are honoured once a year in front of thousands of visitors to the annual international congress. In order to receive a Certificate of Merit a project must be awarded 75 points in the following categories: presentation of entry material (max. 5 points), land use (max. 10 points), design (max. 35 points), development goals (max. 20 points), productivity/financial performance (max. 20 points) & innovation (max. 10 points).
