2nd Prize Invited Competition, 2005 Uniqa Hotel and Shopping Passage, Vienna, A
Two-stage competition to find a concept for reusing the former headquarters of the Uniqa insurance company:
A building services team from ATP worked with the Vienna architectural practice Katzberger+Loudon to develop a project which was beaten into second place only by Jean Nouvel. The services concept is a mix of innovative and tried and tested technical and economical solutions which pays particular attention to the complicated location of the central plant room.
